Dai6 gaa1 hou2 大家好 (Hello everyone). For those new students that are just reading these updates, fun1 jing4 歡迎 (Welcome!!!)

For those who took the 101 and the 103 class quizzes, Kam and I were both very pleased with the results. The new cycle is at the halfway point and the instructors are looking forward to fun and educational second half. We wish to thank all of the students for their constant hard work, support, and generosity.

Please don't forget tomorrow's 101 class. Mia will not be in, so I will be teaching a special lesson to the 102 class on Sentence Final Particles. I've attached the lesson plans for those who cannot attend.

I've also attached my notes from Mia's last class for those who missed it. I've taken some liberties and converted them to Jyut6 ping3 as it is the only romanization system I use now. I've also added the Chinese characters. I hope everyone enjoys them.

We are thinking about having a holiday dinner over the Christmas vacation. It would be nice if we could all get together over a meal and perhaps some Karaoke afterwards. I'm looking at Saturday, December 27th or perhaps the following Saturday, January 3rd. But Sunday, or during the week is good for me too, so if anyone has any preference let me know.

Also I have some plans to add a couple more classes starting with the beginning of the Winter cycle so if anyone has a class that they would like to see, or a specific day when they would like to see it, please drop me a line, or send me an email. We are somewhat restricted working around the school's schedule, but we will try to be accommodating where and when we can.

Remember all of the classes are FREE (any donation appreciated) and any of the classes may be attended at any time. So come on down if you have time. Don't forget to practice your Cantonese and Chinese characters every day. For those new people who need it, I've posted the current schedule below. Feel free to email or call me with any questions, comments, trivia or babble. Hope to see you all in class.

Zoi3 gin3 再見
Tony
