I hope everyone had a pleasant Thanksgiving holiday, now it's time to get back to work before the winter recess which will be here before you know it.
Two new bits of news:
1) K. Moy has decided to move her 102 class back to IS 131 and back to her old time spot: 12:30-1:30
Beginning tomorrow 12/06/08, so let's try to attend her class to welcome her back.
2) Kam will be extending her 103 class into next year. Kam was not able to cover as much as she wanted to due to school closures for holidays and maintenance so she will carry the class over for several weeks into January. As a result, we will not be implementing the Saturday Reading/Writng class or my new 102 class until after Kam's done.
I will continue my Monday evening Reading/Writing class and will start my Saturday Dim Sam class beginning with the January cycle. There will be limited seating for the Dim Sam class so if you haven't contacted me already please do so to let me know that you are interested.
For those who missed last Wednesday's class, I began the review for the final exam on December 17th and we also learned "The Mosquito Song" which I have attached in PDF format.
Mia gave a great class on Thanksgiving terminologies which I have also attached.
Remember all of the classes are FREE (any donation appreciated) and any of the classes may be attended at any time. So come on down if you have time. Don't forget to practice your Cantonese and Chinese characters every day. For those new people who need it, check out the current schedule.
