Hi gang! Sorry for the last minute notice, but I just heard that K. Mui's 102 class will be postponed until January 10th....Sorry for any inconvenience. As a consolation, please enjoy the attached lesson form Mia's 12/1708 102 class.
Also, talking to some of the staff and students we've decided to make the January 3 get together an all-day event. We're thinking Yum cha (jam2 caa4) 飲茶 in the morning, followed by a rousing Karaoke (kaa1 laa1 ou1 kei1) 卡拉OK session, topped off by a sumptuous dinner. Come to any of the three events or all three if you're free. I'll get back to you all with the exact times and prices a bit later. We will need an RSVP for the Karaoke event as we wish to book the room in advance. Everyone had a great time last year, so please don't miss this event if at all possible. So clear your schedules and come on out to help us celebrate the holidays.
Hung and Kam just cancelled for Saturday, and in light of the impending storm I think it's best if I do the same. Anyone who had planned to show up for the 101 final exam, please just email me and I will let you know what to do. I'm not sure if David will be in for Toisan class, or if Violet will be in for her class. Please contact them directly. I will still be in Monday night for Menu Reading/Writing class.
